Preference will ALWAYS be given (where choice is available) to potential WORKING homes (herding or competition performance sports).
It is human nature to select on looks alone.
BUT it is through our considerable experience that we advise you to take into account the puppies character in the selection process;
because selecting the wrong character is much harder to live with than the wrong white markings,coat colour or coat length.
As we like to place pups to the right home by Character we ask you give us your choice of three puppies in order of preference.
This is essential as we may well have several requests for the same puppy and we, of course, cannot dissect the puppy.
Your choices will always be considered and mutually agreed upon before final choice is made.
Character develops from five weeks of age and I will be looking closely at the pups to establish which in my opinion will make the best possible dog for your requirements,
I will tell you the character of each pup as it develops.
Puppies are marked SOLD on the website once the choice has been agreed with the new owners and a deposit has been received.
Regular photo updates (we try to do this once every week to ten days) and also try to include some video.

It is quite a struggle to keep them all fed, Jura is a great patient mum and she is producing plenty of milk, the big trouble is the lack of room

Jura has been doing a fantastic job, she has produced litres of milk and all the pups are the normal average weight for their age.
Jura is now starting to introduce her pups to toys and raw chicken, which you will see they love to eat.
The soft food is Natural Instinct mixed with natural yogurt and is fed twice a day.

They are also learning that playing tug is fun provided it is done safely.

WOW - what a great reaction.
We will continue the use of the CD and TV showing my favorite Horror and Action films.

the toy it lasted a while until Jura moved into the puppy pen - then it lasted about ten minutes.
They all had so much fun - wish we could have seen them destroy it this was about half an hour later and the pups really were quite tired.

The weather has been horrid and not inducive to taking the pups outside. Even this day was very cold and windy.
They all had so much fun - despite the cold - us humans though were like ice blocks when we came inside.
