unfortunately, Miska produced six very small puppies, four of whom did not make if for very long, or were sleeping at birth and then after almost a week, she proceeded to lie on a super blue merle male.
So she has Four Surviving pups:-

Pirate has a super temperament but can be very pushy with other dogs,
wanting to play all the time, he is very clever and willing to please .
On the sheep, he has power and presence,
He looks pretty ordinary until he sees sheep and when he settles he is stunningly stylish..
He is in training and I hope to make a trials dog of him. I love working him as he is quick to respond, has excellent balance and very good turns off shep.

Miska is a special girl to us, she is by a cousin of our Astra Dale was Pure power and brains and placed in open trials),
Miska is out of Astra Dubh who is a full sister to our current best dog Astra Black and Astra Ginger.
This is. without a doubt, my best line, they have loving solid natures, easy to train.
An OFF SWITCH to die for, and pure power and drive when at work with
SHEEP, Agility, obedicence, Search and Rescue, you name it,
this line can do it to a high standard.
Their only down side is they are emphatically sensitive, they can read your mood intuitively
and will refuse to work if you are unfair or loose your temper, if you realise this and change your attitude,
say you are sorry,
they are back on the job with no hard feelings.
These are my go to dogs, they will always get the job done but on sheep they are probably not beginner handler dogs, simply as they can be very pushy, the are honest and clean mouthed, with almost no grip, but will turn it on when challenged by a nasty ewe or ram.
I had intended to keep the merle boy but I may still change my minda and keep the Red girl unless you can offer a breeding home for her on contract with sheep work, free lessons and a pup back at a latter stage /ask me about the Guardianship Breeding Agreement .

We are only just now catching up for applications.

We are still working through applications for both the Miska and Amiga litters, preference is given to those who want to work sheep or to amazing active homes.
We have two female red and white pups born on the 12th June 2020, these will be available when they are 10 weeks of age (20th August),
We have a litter of reds, blacks, with merle and dilute variations due on the 18th June, please apply (DO NOT PHONE) via our book a puppy page.
We are planing just one more litter this year.
Please be patient, we will read every application and then will send emails to all our prefered applicants - to which you should immediately reply to that email answering all our questions.
Depending on those answers we will then invite you to a video
appointment, if you have not recieved an email (which is not an autoreply),
